Hello! I’m Darin Carter, a senior visual designer with 12 years of experience in human-centered design, user experience, motion graphics, and social media. Currently, I’m designing at Sport Clips, where I focus on UX design, building brand identities through social and email campaigns, conceptualizing big-picture ideas, and creating engaging video graphics.

In my previous role as a Visual Designer at BuildASign, I delegated tasks and served as an art director on diverse projects. I also co-managed teams during BuildASign’s annual Createathon, a 24-hour pro bono design sprint supporting local non-profits. Additionally, I developed and led a design internship program, mentoring college students to navigate real-world design challenges and expand their creative skills.

Beyond my professional roles, I founded Hella Artsy, a platform dedicated to interviewing creatives about their mediums and expertise. What began as a podcast is evolving into live panel events, creating spaces for collaboration and inspiration in the creative community.

I also produce experimental music under several local record labels, recently releasing an album with Left Field Division. Currently, I’m in production on a short film with Boulevard Films for the Cannes Film Festival. When I’m not working, I provide freelance design services for start-ups and entrepreneurs and enjoy spending time with my wife and kids.
